Why it matters

Building a long-term record of poorly known insect diversity

The Dominican Republic contains highly diverse habitats and many insect groups remain incompletely documented. EntomoDR combines targeted field expeditions, specimen preparation, specialist collaboration, and museum-based taxonomic work.

The website is intended as a transparent public window into the project: expeditions, photographs, publications, and fundraising needs.
